Last day of stay here in Chandler, and still eager to have some short hike just around Phoenix area. I decided to head over to Camelback Mountain, which its English name is derived from its shape, which resembles the hump and head of a kneeling camel. It is a popular recreation destination for hiking and rock climbing. There are 2 trails that lead to same destination, and since I still have to do some Thanksgiving shopping and packing before the flight next day, hence I decided to go for easier trail, the Cholla Trail. It took 3 hours for the round trip hike to the top, and manage to catch a nice sunset from the saddle platform as well.

Huge cactus at the beginning of the trail.

Cholla trail started with well maintained staircase.

The Phoenician, luxury resort.

Cactus and the view.

OK, getting tougher from here.

The view back towards the saddle.

The final ascend before reaching the top of the mountain.

Thanks for the great time, Phoenix!

Final sunset in Phoenix, for now!

Is time to descend from the saddle.

Beautiful twilight on the way down.

The sky went almost all dark before I manage to reach the car park.
