Doha City Tour with Discover Qatar

During transit at Doha, we were actually entitled for the city tour group but unfortunately the tour have an early departure and we miss the session. We then negotiate with the Qatar Airways travel desk and manage to get a private car tour at 400 Qatari, for 3 of us, which wasn't too bad travel in more comfortable car.

Our drive of the day, Muhammad origin from Syria, was a very friendly man, and we chat quite a lot on the road, talking about how Qatar develop from a desert to one of the most luxurious city in the world, as well as how Qatar preparing for upcoming World Cup event on year 2022. During the 4 hours private touring, he brought us to series of tourist spot in Doha, which included The Museum of Islamic Arts, Katara Culture Village, luxurious development project of The Pearl, and last but not least, old market of Souq Waqif.

Absolutely a great way to explore the city of Doha, while waiting for transit on your next flight!
